Lares Trek to Machu Picchu 4D/3N


Day 01: Cusco - Lares - Wacahuasi.

Transfer from the hotel at 5 am approx. then to go to the town of Lares in the way we can appreciate the majestic Sacred Valley with its fertile lands, then we arrive at the small village of Calca (2,940 m) through small villages Maucaupata and Totora where inhabitants dressed in their costumes, the main activities are the textileria, agriculture and livestock.
Finally, after a journey of approx. 4 hours we arrive at Lares (3,200 masl) visit to the hot springs for a refreshing swim. After lunch and contacting our horsemen started the walk reaching our first camp in four hours Wacahasi (3,600 m).

Day 02: Wacahuasi-Ipsaycocha - Patacancha.

After breakfast we started the walk going to our second camp this day we start early as we climb through the pass Ipsay to appreciate the way so also different farming communities different customs and they weave textiles for everyday use. Arrive at the lagoon where will lunch at Ipsaycocha, after to take a siesta continue to the town of Patacancha where we spend the second night.

Day 03: Patacancha-Willoq-Ollantaytambo.

After breakfast we continue our trek to the small population of people with original customs Willoq we will through small towns in the course of our walk we will see the archaeological remains and Pumamarca Qochapata. At approximately 2:00 pm we arrive at the town of Ollantaytambo, after lunch we have free time until 7:30 pm then board the train to Aguas Calientes we spend our last night in a hostel with private bathroom and hot water.

Day 04: Machu Picchu - Cusco.

Very early departure to the Inca city of Machu Picchu to see the sunrise and then have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, after which we have free time, according to the train ticket down to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Cusco.
